Loaded Questions is a fun party game that helps everyone get to know each other better while generating big laughs!  Best of all, it’s customizable because you get to create the questions.  The game works best with medium sized groups.

Setup for Loaded Questions Party Game

You’ll need a large bowl or hat, several slips of paper, and a pen for each person.

Playing Loaded Questions 

Give paper and pens to each person.  Ask each person to come up with interesting personal questions.  For example, “What is your all time favorite food?” or “If you had to live in one place for the rest of your life, where would you live?” or “What body part of yours do you love the most?” You can come up with any question you like!  People are free to answer in creative ways, so don’t worry too much if the question seems too pointed or strange.  The point is to get to know each other better in meaningful ways.

Once there are a good number of questions, collect them and place them aside.  You’re ready to play!

Each round, there is a “Reader.”  Have the reader take a slip of paper with a question written on it.  He or she reads it out loud. Everyone writes an honest response to the question on a slip of paper, making sure to keep things anonymous (no names).  They can answer the question in funny or creative ways if they wish, but it should be truthful.  Place all the response sheets in the large bowl or hat.  Shuffle the sheets around and pass the bowl/hat to the Reader.

The Reader reads out all answers. Starting with person on his or her left, he or she tries to match a person with an answer. If he or she gets it right, the Reader gets to go again and try to match another person/answer. If wrong, the bowl or hat gets passed to the next person to guess.  He or she has to repeat the correctly guessed ones first. Play continues until all the answers are all resolved.

Play continues for all the remaining questions, or until your group decides to end!  You can keep track of score by counting the correct guesses if you wish.  However, this is optional, as the game is more about learning about each other and reading funny responses!
