Tongue Game
The Tongue Game is a hilarious party game for teens and adults. Pass playing cards around the table, until a person is able to get four of a kind. Once that person gets four of a kind, he or she sticks out their tongue and keep it out. Everyone else then quickly sticks out their tongue. The last person to notice gets eliminated from the game!
This game works best for teenagers and adults. It is most ideal to play this game with 5-6 people. All you need to play this game is a standard deck of playing cards and a nice table to play on.
Setup for the Tongue Game
Have everyone seated around a table. Shuffle the cards and place them face down as a pile. Deal each person four cards. You’re now ready to play!
Playing the Tongue Game
The Tongue Game is simple to play. The goal is to try to get four of a kind (four Aces, four Kings, four Queens, or any other rank). One person starts as the dealer. He or she draws a card from the shuffled stack. He or she must discard one card to the next person on the right (clockwise). Each person keeps passing one card clockwise. The last player places the card into a discard pile.
The dealer does not have to wait before drawing the next card. The game becomes quite fast. Once any player gets four of a kind, he or she quietly sticks out their tongue. The goal is to do it stealthily so that not everyone notices right away. Once any player sticks out their tongue, the rest of the players also stick out their tongue. You can keep passing cards to try to trick others.
The last player to stick out their tongue loses and is eliminated from the game. The winner becomes the new dealer for the next round. The cards are reshuffled and a new round begins. Keep playing until there are only two winners left.
